Today is my big day. Go ahead go grab you some water. Okay, glad your back. I was not looking forward to today's weigh in. This whole week Aunt Flo has said several times she was coming...then she finally shows up today! I was up 3 pounds yesterday, so today's weigh in could have been worse! I don't think I ever lose the week Aunt Flo comes! I am up .2 pounds from last week.
I am DETERMINED to be out of the 260's next week!! Watch out 250's here I come!
Today I also check in with two different challenges I am a part of! The first one is the 4th of July Challenge hosted by Chubby Chick! She is doing fabulous on the challenge! The second challenge was started by the sweet Heather. It is the Fabulous N Fit By Fall Challenge...week 2. I cannot wait to get my tree!
Here are my stats:
My NSV's for this week: my size 24 jeans fall off of me...goodbye size 24...good ridden...in the yard sale pile! This is the third week in a row that someone has commented about being able to tell I'm losing! Love it!
Day's Exercised: I exercised 2 times this week! Both times I did Leslie Sansone's workout with the belt. It is a 45 minute workout....she has a great attitude...love Leslie! So, I did make improvement this week on amount of time spent exercising. I am also motivated to continue! I WILL continue!
Inches Lost: I will be announcing inches on a monthly basis!
This Week's Motivation: I really want to break out of the 260's FOREVER!
Weekly Summary: I missed some meals this week. One day I went all day on 15 almonds and a bite of cheese until dinner time. I haven't been eating enough this week. You think the scale would show in my favor....oh no! When I don't eat enough I do not lose weight. Plan ahead...life gets busy...PLAN for it! Baseball season...one more night. Things should slow down a little now! I've been drinking lots of water!
Room for Improvement for next week: Eat healthy meals...no skipping out! Continue to increase water and increase days exercised!
If I let myself I could get discouraged about my S.L.O.W. progress. But, you know what? It's not about how fast I get there. There is always going to be another mountain... I'm always gonna want to make it move. The important thing is to move on, to keep climbing the mountain, and don't EVER give up! I've lost a total of 33 pounds from my highest weight! I will keep the FAITH!

You'll get there girl, just keep on going. Good luck on this next week!!
ReplyDeleteYou are doing great! Yay on the non-scale victories!
ReplyDeleteI am not doing as well. I have the Aunt visiting too and haven't been exercising. Argh! AND I ate a piece of CAKE yesterday!!!! AND I haven't had my water today. Waaaaaaaaaaa.
Tomorrow is a new day!
Love,
Beth
It's okay to have a bad week and I'm glad you found the motivation to keep going despite the gain.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your NSV's! It's always great when others notice your efforts, because you know you're doing something right!
Hey! "Aunt Flo" came to visit me today too! How nice of her to see us both on the same day. :) ha ha!! I'm not looking forward to my weigh in on Friday but I am doing my best to counteract her visit. I KNOW you'll be out of the 260's by next week. Go get 'em!!
ReplyDeleteConsidering Aunt Flo is in town, I think that's a pretty good weigh in.
ReplyDeleteWow - Aunt Flo gets around doesn't she. She came to visit me today as well! Too funny...okay maybe not funny. I think you have the perfect attitude for losing weight. And I totally agree that with God, all things are possible. Keep up the good work!!
ReplyDeleteAunt Flo is a real witch isn't she!? Congrats to you for being so positive!! I love that your plan is detailed and have listed ways to improve as well, that's awesome!!
ReplyDeleteWell now I know where Aunt Flo went...she came to your house and left mine. Rhonda I think you're doing so well...just keep going. I'm hoping to see what your scale says now for myself in the next few weeks. You're so brave to list your weight...I'm so chicken! Great job!
ReplyDeleteBlessings.
The unwanted visitor always seems to make me gain, too.
ReplyDeleteJust think about next week's weigh in though - any water you may be holding this week will be gone & I am willing to bet that you'll be out of the 260s by next week.
Keep your faith going Rhonda - you can & will do this!
That is hardly a gain at all! Darn hormones often get the best of us! I'm glad to see you keeping your positive outlook! I too am having to fight to not get discouraged, and I'm so glad I turned to blogs for inspiration this go round. It really does make it easier to know others are going through the same things!
ReplyDeleteYou are doing great! The experts all say that if you lose it slowly, you are more likly to keep it off. And if you are anything like me, that is good news, because there is no way I am ever gaining any of the weight back! :)
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to answer your the question you left on my blog. X-Weighted is a Canadian show, so I'm not sure it's available in the states. Here it's on a channel called Slice. Sorry, I'm probably not much help.
ReplyDeleteYou are so close to leaving the 260s far behind!
ReplyDelete0.2 either way is as good as a maintain, and, considering the timing, yours is fluid masking a loss. You're probably already in the 250s!
