I am so excited! I lost 5.4 pounds this week!! That makes my total challenge pounds lost 12.6! My non scale victories (NSV'S) this week would have to be no sugar, back to drinking green smoothies, watching what I put into my mouth. I haven't felt the best the past 5 days...that seems to keep me motivated to eat right.
This next week I would like to start exercising. Small steps. Drink more water. I'm going to buy an adorable drink dispenser and try to drink a gallon a day.... eventually.
I met my first goal of losing 10 lbs. (+). I will be rewarding my self with a hair makeover. I am making my highlight appointment today. I need it...over due! Here is to another successful week! Something else I just realized....I'm less than 1 lb. of being out of the 60's! It has been at least 5 years since I've been in the 250's! I got up to that when I was pregnant with my youngest. MOTIVATED! BLESSED!
Have a healthy week my friends!

I was just in the middle of writing my weekly update blog post when you left a comment! It's up now!
ReplyDeleteAwesome job on the 5.4 pounds! I'm sure the stress of what you were going through over the last couple of weeks was the reason your body was holding onto that weight. So happy that you are able to get your 10 pound button!
I can't wait to see your new hairdo. My 10 pound goal is the exact same thing and I need it desperately! Unfortunately, I think it will be another 3 weeks until I get it. :( This week showed a 0 pound lost on the scale, so I'm now a week behind in where I had hoped I would be! Be sure to take a before and after!
5.4 pounds lost is awesome!! Great job!! Keep it up and in no time you'll be down in the 250's! Yay!!! You are doing fantastic! I'll have to check out the green smoothies. Are they tasty? Thanks for your comments on my blog, I appreciate them!
ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting my blog, and for your kind words.
ReplyDelete5.4 lbs is amazing! Well done :)
I'm all about baby steps. It's how I've approached exercise, too. Otherwise, I tend to overdo, get injured, and abandon it altogether.
Good luck!
Congratulations on your loss and thank you for you comment! I love visiting new blogs and making new "friends"!
ReplyDeleteOnce you start exercising you'll never go back--I love it especially now that the weather is so beautiful :)
Come back again--I will!
