I am loving the c25k program! I begin week 4 tomorrow and will be running 5 minute intervals. I love the inspiration on facebook with this program, and I'm finding myself looking forward to my run days. That's HUGE!
So far all I have been doing is exercising 3 times a week with this program. You are suppose to have rest days after each run. I have decided since the desire to exercise is coming back, I will be doing some extra exercising on my off days to help get the scale moving. I have not lost any weight since I started this program, but I am looking different. My body is changing. I feel so much better when I exercise. Just like NOT drinking my diet coke for 2.5 years now, I'm hoping this will become a life long habit. No more month long breaks or more. Those days are over. There are just too many benefits to continue on.
Another thing I am going to do for the next week is write down everything I am eating. I've tried doing this in the past, but never for long. I need to be more aware of all I'm eating.
I'm ready!!
