I did it!
I feel so good. I got up at 5:30 AM. It did however take me 20 minutes to make the bed, get dressed, get h20, and get the DVD running, but I made it. Then it took another 30 minutes to complete the Hip Hop Abs. It was great for starting out again. I have to pat myself on the back because I'm not a morning person, but I plan on doing it again tomorrow.

Rhonda, I'm so super duper proud of you for getting up early to work out!! 5:30 is even earlier than what I've been doing (I'm not a morning person, either), but don't you agree that working out in the morning before the day starts feels so amazing? I used to be in bed until 8:00 or 8:30 and always felt so sluggish in starting my day.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry I haven't been around in awhile...I hope you feel encouraged today! I have been kind of on a selfish journey these days with trying to get my own weight loss going, let alone trying to embrace living my every day life to the fullest...which usually means there's no time to visit my blogging buddies!!
Hang in there, friend!! You'll get to where you want to be...with a lot of hard work, sweat, and I'm sure there will be tears along the way.

Great job on the early workout. I feel your pain because I am not a morning person either.
ReplyDeleteI have thought about trying the Hip Hop Abs. It looks like a lot of fun but very tough at the same time. I have added his basic bounce move with the shoulders in, to my workout and I sure can feel it.
